Fantastic trimmed down version of the big Everdell, perfect weight for families with amazing art and production while keeping the price point low cutting corners where it didn't hurt. What we really like (besides all the obvious Everdell-goodness on smaller scale) are the included kick-start cards (Captains and Forts) for younger players boosting their economy, not making it a self-brewed tweak but an actually game-designed option to include when you want younger players to be able to properly compete with seasoned gamer (parents;) Beware, though, this is NOT a kids game, it is a family game for kids to join and (deeply! At least in our case) enjoy once they're like +-7 years old.

Kids version, but really enjoyable for adults as well. Great for kids to get into board gaming and get used to these type of games. Artwork is lovely and playtime perfect for kids.

Absolutely fantastic. My kids(4 and 6) always want to play Everdell because of the fun artwork, but of course Everdell is fairly heavy duty for kids. My Lil Everdell is such a perfect introduction to gaming for kids. It is absolutely accessible and kids quickly learn how to develop strategies. We love it!

Fantastic kids version of its big brother. Does everything it does but in a more manageableway. If you teach this to your players, they will get Everdell within a few more rule explanations. My son and wife really like this.

After falling in love with Everdell I picked up My Lil' Everdell to play with my daughter. The whole family LOVES it! It also doesn't feel significantly different from Everdell albeit being a very watered-down version. Highly recommend for people with kids! My daughter is 5, for reference. Not sure I'd play it with children who are younger. Lily
