Description

'Imnia' is a strategic city-building board game set in medieval western Europe. In the game you take the role of a Lord in the land of Imnia and race to be the first to fully construct a wonder in order to win the game. The game is played in turns, each 4 turns (seasons) making up a year. In each of the first 3 seasons the player can : Gather and trade resources (some resources are harder to find and more valuable) Use the resources in their inventory to construct buildings (each building has 2 levels, you must have level 1 constructed in order to build level 2) Craft items (each item is specific to a building and you must have that building in town in order to craft) Recruit people (people dwell in a specific building, you need it constructed in order to recruit them) In winter: None of the actions above are allowed. Instead you must draw an event card which may be a blessing or a curse. There are 4 wonders available in the game and you will have to decide which to build. To start a wonder you have to meet certain requirements to receive the construction rights to it. Wonders have 5 construction stages and a criterion for it to be considered fully functional. The first player who fully builds a functional wonder wins the game. NOTE: the game rules are still under development, thus they are subject to change.
