This is not a "card-driven" game, nor one with a traditional mapboard, but one in which the units and leaders themselves are cards that capture the abilities and appearance of the two armies. Cards face, move, and fight within their own grid. Game options include a "historical" battle deployment or allowing you to "do better" on your own.
