Descripción

Durante la segunda mitad del siglo XIV en lo que entonces era Ceilán, hoy conocido como Sri Lanka, un hongo mortal acabó con todas las plantaciones de café de la isla, causando así una grave crisis económica. El escocés James Taylor, y más tarde muchos otros emprendedores, se dedicaron a sustituir las plantaciones de café por plantaciones de té, creando así lo que muchos conocedores consideran hoy el mejor té del mundo. En Ceilán, los jugadores asumirán el papel de los pioneros que desarrollaron la industria del té de Ceilán. Deben construir plantaciones, cosechar sus cultivos, desarrollar tecnología y exportar su producto a todo el mundo. El jugador que contribuya de manera más efectiva al éxito del té de Ceilán se convertirá en el ganador. Al final del juego, se obtendrán puntos por tener plantaciones en cada distrito, por satisfacer las demandas establecidas, por el nivel de desarrollo tecnológico alcanzado y por la cantidad de dinero recaudada. El jugador que tenga más puntos al final se convertirá en el ganador.
