Descripción

"Sin trabajo en equipo, nunca sobrevivirás. Sin traición, nunca ganarás." Cutthroat Caverns se juega en 9 rondas, cada una con un encuentro aleatorio. Esencialmente un juego de 'robo de asesinatos'. Cada ronda, cualquier monstruo encontrado tendrá un valor de prestigio de 1 a 6. El jugador que logre posicionarse y asestar el golpe mortal obtiene el valor de prestigio por el encuentro. Algunos encuentros no tendrán un monstruo específico, como una sala de trampas que los héroes deben atravesar (y en este caso, no ganando prestigio). El jugador sobreviviente con más prestigio después de los 9 encuentros es el ganador. Si los jugadores no sobreviven a los 9 encuentros, nadie gana el juego. Una combinación única de juego cooperativo y traición oportunista.

There's nothing I've played that's like this game and it's really fun with the right group of people. It is a semi coop game where you need to work together to a certain extent, until you get closer to the end game where the knives really come out. It's great with four or more players.

Played this tonight and I thought it was phenomenal. I thought it was like Munchkin which I have played once but I didn't really like it. Granted it was a very large game but, I like games that are...cutthroat. I like to be vindictive in a game. I don't like the, hey who wants to help me aspect of Munchkin. In Cutthroat caverns, any act of help, is truly for yourself. It was gnarly and awesome. I will buy this.

Such a great game. Not for players who whine about getting attacked by opponents or from having their stuff taken from them. The name of the game is to be taken literally. Most likely will be enjoyed by people who love Cosmic Encounters.

Would normally be a game I would have zero intrest in but the whole, he who kills gets all the glory makes it a brillant game of trying to figure out what to do on your turn depending on play order and the monster you are up against. Plays 3 surprisingly well but 4-6 is where it is at.
