I am just blown away by the game and the worldbuilding in Expeditions. Now THIS is a game that the Jakub Rozalski's art deserves! Surprisingly more complex than it looks on the surface. Personally speaking, by far a better game than Scythe - super streamlined, super fun deckbuilding, and most importantly - it evokes the theme and the setting very strongly. Just allow yourself to immerse in it and you, like me, won't stop thinking about it.

I played this solo and enjoyed it far more than regular Scythe. I just dislike the size of the box, which doesn't play nice with Kallax shelves. *Revised*: I've been playing it all week after adding the Gears of Corruption expansion. It elevated Expeditions from a very good game to a great game.
An incredible game! This is the game I first encountered multi-use cards, and I learned quickly I love the mechanic. Moving the mechs on the map is so satisfying. Just wish it had a slightly smaller footprint.
Another fantastically intricate but digestible game from Stonemaier Games! It serves very well as a spiritual successor to Scythe, incorporating some of Scythe’s iconic mechanics while remaining very fresh and innovative. 10/10!
More fun every time I play it. So many options to play. So many goals to pick from. Choose the options you want to seek, and chase those down for victory points. The hunt is so much fun. There are dozens of ways to play. You’ll never find yourself with a turn that you can’t do something worthwhile on. But it is so streamlined, it doesn’t bog down your decision making, even though you always have good options to choose from. And once you learn to chain actions together, to create a series of effects that you set off like pushing over that first domino, the game really starts to build momentum in a hurry. Fantastic game.
