Marvel Villainous: Infinite Power

Best board game I’ve ever played. Ignore the comments on the quality of the game pieces. Definitely more fun and more strategic than the other Disney Villainous games. If you love Marvel and fun strategy games, this game is for you.

My favorite of the Villainous series. Marvel Villainous expands upon the Disney version by including more interactive characters, ways to visit other villainous domains, and a single hero fate deck. To me it feels like reading a comic, where any hero or villain can be found in the same story.

Thanos was the most complex, but it makes sense since he took several movies to get his objective. I also do not like how the pieces seem lighter and less quality than the game movers from the other Villainous games. But, this could be an artistic decision due to it not being focused on Disney.

The base game has enough to it to play on its own. Adding one expansion is fine, but including all expansions is way too annoying with the shared fate deck. Apart from that, every character is fun to play as (except Taskmaster in my opinion). I do like the shared fate deck because it adds personalization to the choice of the fate action. Definitely play with people who don't have AP or this will take too long.

Marvel Villainous is an insanely fun board game. It has excellent replay-ability, insanely creative cards, and has become one of my favorite games of all time. The only problem with the game (in my opinion, of course) is that some characters can be very unbalanced. For example, Thanos' objective is very lengthy and time taking while Taskmaster's can be completed in the first 10 turns of the game. However, this aside, it's always fun to pick up a challenge and try a harder character.
