MicroMacro: Crime City

Cute game. Redefining a game to be like a Where’s Waldo book, social and visual, but boardgamers probably won’t care. I like how each map can have multiple puzzles in the same picture. But now I’m comparing it to the Waldo books and thinking how they’re so much cheaper, AND in color. Oh well. It’s still alright, since I played it for free.

Considering that this is really a one-time play game, we enjoyed it very much. You can feel the differences in difficulty and the stories were always engaging! Every time we played it we couldn't stop at just one case

We are a huge fan of detective stories and this game captures that essence really well! It's basically finding waldo but with a storyline! The game states that it is 1-4 players, but I don't think it holds up past 2 players. Good to play by yourself or if you want to play with other players. Also love the age ratings on each case! Not really replayable, but we have played this game for a lot longer than some of the other more replayable 2 player games.

Alles an MicroMacro ist wunderbar! Ich habe es meist Solo gespielt, mit entsprechender Musik im Hintergrund. Es lässt einen schön eintauchen und grübeln. Alleine wegen diesem Erlebnis lohnt es sich für jeden, der gerne Detektiv spielt.

Most incredible game I’ve ever played! Absolutely ingenious, the first case I solved gave me such a thrill. Highly recommend! I bought clear cellophane and placed that on top, worked like a dream cos then I could write on it with whiteboard. I felt so organised. The game is literally the best board game I have ever played, and I love board games.
