Munchkin Pathfinder, que incluye 168 cartas y utiliza el escenario del juego de rol Pathfinder de Paizo Publishing, se puede jugar como un juego independiente o combinarse con cualquier otro juego básico de Munchkin. Dicho esto, aunque Munchkin Pathfinder incluye Clases y algo nuevo para este conjunto: Facciones, el juego no utiliza Razas. En cuanto a lo que encontrarás en el conjunto, puedes probar nuevas clases como Alquimista y Bruja; unirte a una facción para convertirte en un Caballero Águila o un Asesino Mantis Rojo; o armarte con el T-Bone Stake y la Armadura de Insultos. Necesitarás esos últimos objetos para derrotar al Ghoul Friday, al Tyrant Susurrante y, especialmente, a Lamashtu, la Madre de los Monstruos. Pero primero tendrás que luchar a través de todos esos goblins... y matarlos y llevarte sus cosas. Munchkin Pathfinder Deluxe contiene las mismas cartas, dados y reglas que Munchkin Pathfinder, pero también incluye un tablero de juego, peones y soportes de plástico. Munchkin Pathfinder Deluxe también presenta un mecanismo completamente nuevo: "Facciones" y un nuevo D6 para el icónico Goblin de Pathfinder.

Lots of luck and take that, but it happens we enjoy it a lot and we always have a great fun and silly time. It is a great game for having snacks and drinks with friends. It shines with the right people. I have Munchkin Dungeon which is considered by some as a better game, yet we don't find it as fun. YMMV of course.

Like many other Munchkin games, you must be able to have at least 1 expansion (2-4 expansions recommended), keep and remove the right and the semi-useless cards, play test it for few times, do it again for couple more times, and then bam! My Munchkin Pathfinder became an 8 worthy game. The reason why I choose Pathfinder version is the new classes and factions. They are pretty original (different enough from other previous classes), balanced to each other, and they do play very well (works as intended) in the game. But Munchkin as it is (any version), that is without any expansion(s) and without a carefully built deck, then the game deserves a score of 3~5. Or even less.
