In Seize the Bean, players take on the role of baristas who have quit their jobs to open their own cafés in the diverse city of Berlin, Germany. The goal of the game is for players to create the best café possible, measured by a variety of achievements such as financial success, café style, popularity, ratings, and coffee quality. The players do this by adjusting their shop stats, managing their resources, drawing customer cards, managing their shop queue, and playing various action cards.
