The coveted goods in flourishing shops make Catan shine in a new light. Cities are further expanded, city walls and metropolises arise. But Catan is in danger, as progress and prosperity on the island attract hordes of barbarians who attack Catan. Only with a strong army of knights can the barbarians be repelled and cities be saved from destruction. New game elements create additional strategic possibilities, providing variety and contributing to victory. With the Cities & Knights expansion, a challenging and particularly intense adventure on Catan is offered for three to four players aged twelve and up.
