Fully German edition of 'War of the Ring: Lords of Middle-earth'. The Lords of Middle-earth is an expansion for the board game The War of the Ring, 2nd Edition. It introduces new mechanisms and strategies inspired by events and characters not present or playing a minor role in Tolkien's work. Central characters from The Lord of the Rings, previously only represented on cards, now have their own figures and rules. And some characters from the base game receive an alternative form here. Game contents: 3 special action dice of the Keepers of the Elven Rings, 2 special action dice of the Underlings, 6 new plastic figures (Elrond; Galadriel; Balrog of Moria; Gothmog; Witch-king, Lord of the Ringwraiths; Sauron's Mouth, Black Númenorean), 2 bonus plastic figures (Aragorn, Heir of Isildur; Gandalf the White), 11 cardboard markers and tokens, 1 Sméagol special event card 'We will get him', 3 new companion cards: Elrond, Galadriel, Sméagol, 7 alternative companion cards: Boromir, Gandalf, Gimli, Legolas, Meriadoc, Peregrin, Strider, 2 new Underling cards: Balrog of Moria and Gothmog, 2 alternative Minion cards: Sauron's Mouth and the Witch-king, Lord of the Ringwraiths, 13 new event cards (6 for the Free Peoples, 7 for the Shadow), 1 rulebook.
