Description Description

A collaboration between Montrose Biology and Lindsay Nikole:

Our 1000 piece “Famous Fossils” puzzle features 10 unique fossils from around the world. It showcases a detailed fossil excavation site full of amazing fossilized skeletons. (Note: these fossils are from across the world and different time periods, and have different scales. While each is scientifically accurate, in real life the collection itself would never occur in the same place or at these scales. We bring them together just for this puzzle.)

This puzzle is very large, measuring 27.6 inches by 19.7 inches when finished.

Also included is a companion poster that shows which fossil is which. The back of the box gives a detailed explanation of each fossil selected and the sides of the box include commentary from Lindsay Nikole. Putting it together is like stepping into the shoes of a paleontologist. You'll need to study each bone fragment to know where it goes. We're so excited to share this puzzle with you!

The thick cardboard pieces have a white backing and fit together well.

* Warning: small parts. Not for children under 3 or any individuals who have a tendency to place inedible objects in their mouths.
