The third game in the "worm family" of Zoch, after Da ist der Wurm drin and Streifen Toni, with the same group of worms ...
This time, they have to crawl and eat through the orchard. They eat different fruits, wanting to grow faster than their friends.
Six dice show the colours of six different fruits. Each player starts with a head of a worm (with a pawn on it) and a different colour of fruit, plus a set of cards with a certain number of fruits on one side, and the part of the growing worm on the other side.
At the beginning, all 6 dice are thrown in the middle of the table. On their turn, players pick dice matching their current colour and place them onto the fruits of their card. Non-matching dice are available for the next player(s). If on a player's turn no matching dice are available, they may throw these dice again and maybe pick them up. When all dice are distributed to the players, their worm pawn is "eating": It is moved forwards to the fruit on which the last die was placed, and all dice are thrown again ... When a player places a die onto the last fruit of the current card, he is choosing, which of his remaining cards with different coloured fruits he or she places in front of this, being the next to get matching dice for (maybe they are already in the middle?). The player, whose worm has eaten its way through all colours first, wins the game.
