What can I say I have been waiting for a series of games like the next war system for a long while. The system is great and can't wait to get more of these as they come out.

Really an interesting game. A lot of decision making and several very interesting subsystems . The only problem is that the rules are harder to understand than they should be. However the online support from the designer and others is excellent.

Box in good condition. Map has small stain on edge where no gameplay occurs. Counters are clipped nicely and sides are colored. Some expansion counters from other games are included.

Similar to GMT's East Front Series in that the game has outstanding components, series rules, game specific rules, examples of play, and everything has been thought out very carefully for the game layout. The standard game is not very difficult, but the advanced game is not for the squeamish. A very good look at modern operational warfare and high replay value. Where was this in the 80's for all of those NATO-Warsaw Pact games?

See Next War : India Pakistan for a quick insight of the system. The naval rules in this one are hard to grasp, and I struggled even though I'm not a beginner with the system. They could really use a rewrite, or at least more examples. Great game nonetheless, I'm a complete fan of the system.
