Onirim

My 10 rating is for playing it co-op. I'd only give it a 6 for solo though because I very much dislike shuffling and there's a lot of it in this game and I feel it also loses a lot of the strategy that exists in the co-op game. Co-op, however, it's an absolutely brilliant game. I love that you're looking at how best you can help your partner and with the silent play option I love how you're hoping that they realize exactly what you need.

I will just quote my email to the author: Hi, I just wanted to congratulate you for your game "Onirim". I would be hardly pressed to find words that could adequat[e]ly express my deep admiration of your design. In this moment I won the game (using all three expansions in their hardest variant). It was a very satisfactory experience and I am just a tiny bit sad that I will never be able to experience it the *first* time again. There may be a bit of bias in this rating, but the art and story of the game combines perfectly with the design and gameplay to create a great and quick solo experience. Running through the deck, navigating the visitors, trying to avoid nightmares — it all captures the tense anxious feeling of a bad dream so well. Most of the art (including all in the base set) is a huge hit, with only some striking as lazy over fuzzy and dreamlike.

It absolutely is an best solo-play game! Low price, clear theme, simple rules, light weight, fast paced, but fun and challenges with three expansions. If you hate complex game rules and set a lot of tokens, and want to enjoy playing games alone, you must to play this fantastic game. You know sometimes it's really hard to find a playmate when you desire a board game play. Recommended to pick one and put it in your pocket. And I did bought two copies of this game.

Fantastic Solitary Game!! To master the basic game is quite a challenge but there are 3 expansions to spice things enough so you have Onirim for a long time!! The 2 players game didn´t catch my attention too much. This is definitely a solo game.
