Fabulous expansion for a push your luck game incorporating pirate theme. Rated on 22.10.2018. after 10 plays -> 10 Rated on 28.4.2019. after 20 plays -> 10

This is one of those rare cases where an expansion made a game more fun. I think it's a "must" for those playing Port Royal. Not that the game is "lacking" without it, it's just much more fun with it.

plays excellent as competitive, cooperative and solo game! Only the point-management in coop and solo stays a bit of a mysterie.

Wonderful little game that plays bigger than it is, and plays very differently at different player counts. Luck is a big part of the game, but once you know the game it goes so quickly that it is easy to play two or three games in an hour.

I would not play without this expansion. - Guest add new mechanics to earn money - Quick solo and Coop modes included - New characters adds variety - new boats are excellent (you have to allocate 1 gold for your opponents))
