It's absolutely fantastic! It's Unmatched, but better. Love it! Playing solo is a blast, playing with friends is a blast, playing against friends is a blast! The heroes are great! The enemies are great! The production is great! Love it!

Without a doubt, one of my all-time favorite games! The retro-50's sci-fi theme is superbly done; the mechanics are basically the same as the VS game, with a few simple tweaks for the big bad - so no heavy rule changes (Love the random turn order cards!); and I love that this game gives me the ability to play Unmatched on my own when others aren't available. I'm amazed at how seamlessly most Unmatched characters can be used here, which just doubles the value of the investment in the other sets.

My wife and I have been playing this for two weeks straight, as often as we can. The set is superb. The combinations of setups is endless and we haven't touched the alien yet. There's so much fun to be pulled out of this box!

Fun game. Good starting point for Unmatched. You can PvP. You can PvE. The 4 champions are beginner friendly, with 2 I really like. And the many health dials means you can also make fan-made champs and already have spare dials. Also: Support for a 50-health champion? Hell yeah.
