Zirkadianer – Chaos-ordnung

I've loved every play of this, it's like Dune and Gaia Project had a highly aggressive baby. Lots of interesting choices to be made when building out your tech tracks and economy. The pricing mechanic where each player gets to set the price for one action is really tense and interesting every round. The structure around individual faction goals and the relics on the map means that fighting happens pretty much immediately in this game, no long cold war build up for a bunch of battles in the last round.

A game of almost perfect information, but there's so much that instead, it feels more alive. The asymmetry plays off of such slight differences and yet each faction is very much themselves. Easy to learn, hard to master. Trite saying, but no less true. Definitely rewards and incentivizes repeat plays, as well as inspiring faction swaps to see for yourself what your opponent was facing. All the dials that were spun to set this meal, well done!

Divertimento puro! Mix perfetto tra gestione risorse, controllo del territorio, e (tanto) combattimento tra fazioni asimmetriche. Il tema è molto aderente alle meccaniche e quando le truppe si scontrano ai piedi delle enormi reliquie sembra di vivere la scena di un film di fantascienza. Materiali in quantità e di qualità eccellente, sia per le componenti in legno che per le fustelle spesse e robuste, così come il tabellone. Richiede una buona calibrazione tra scelte tattiche e strategiche che secondo il mio parere fanno di questo gioco un vero diamante!

unique well executed combination of familiar game mechanics. some dune (territory control, combat wheel + bluffing), some gaia project (building income bonuses), some scythe, some race for the galaxy (action selection), some root ( asymmetric factions with different winning conditions) unique action pricing mechanism. great game. importantly for me, works with 2.

(3-4P) Asymmetric dudes on a map game with resource management, pricing of actions which is a little bit like the follow action system with some similarity to Puerto Rico. The game devolves into an escalating power struggle where all factions leverage their special abilities. The game rests on a knife's edge with very tight win conditions. In some respects this is the perfect game.
