Tactical co-op. SCI-FI ameritrash, a blend of Space Hulk and Zombicide. Fortunately it is a game with no zombies, it's more like the Aliens movie. Every turn is like a puzzle, is tense and tells a story. It seems to be the easiest of the series. Awesome components! Great solitaire suitability using only 3 survivors (dividing all spawn numbers by 2 and, on hard scenarios abomination spawn only at 1d6=1-3. Also, the map is less "crowded"). And using noise tokens to take note which survivor has had their turn. To make a scenario harder the best option is to remove (some) easy spawn cards. Mayday sleeved.

ENAMORADA. Dormir estuvo sobrevalorado.
Sadly for my bank account, the zombicide series keeps getting better. The scenarios for this set seems more innovative than those I've seen in the past. other than that, the usual combination of sufficient die rolling that the luck evens out, meaning that without a good strategy and coordinated play, you will lose.
I feel like I'm in the minority for saying this is my favorite of all the Zombicides so far. Even though my favorite theme is for this type of game is fantasy, the ruleset for Invader is easily what I like the most. The focus fire in particular is very nice so I don't have to wait for someone else to come along to deal with bigger enemies and there is a lot of tension when you roll the dice hoping for multiple hits. At first (and it certain scenarios) the game does feel a lot easier then others, but once mold starts spreading and more and more enemies spawn all at once, that can change really quickly.
My deep love of Zombicide 1st edition lead me very quickly into discovering Invader. Updated dynamics to fit the theme, and a setting that I really love, combined with the same quality of components that served Zombicide so well cemented Invader into my rare 10 score games. Its different enough from the modern setting to be distinct and not just a reskin, with some new mechanics that really do make it stand out. I'll keep coming back to Invader time and time again.
