Battalia ist ein schnelles und wettbewerbsfähiges Spiel, das Elemente des Deckbaus, des Kartenbaus, der Gebietskontrolle und ein einzigartiges 'Kalendersystem' kombiniert. Die Spieler müssen mächtige Artefakte erwerben, Einheiten rekrutieren und eine gut unterstützte Armee aufbauen, um gegen ihre Gegner zu kämpfen; gleichzeitig müssen sie Straßen und Städte schaffen, durch die sie ihre Helden reisen lassen. Das 'Kalendersystem' ist ein zentrales Element des Spiels und wird die nützlichsten Momente zur Vorteilsnahme markieren, erfordert jedoch eine gute Planung. Der Sieg kann durch aggressive Eroberung oder durch ein friedliches Entwicklungssystem der eigenen Besitztümer erreicht werden - vorausgesetzt, die anderen Spieler erlauben es!

I was going to buy the game, because it is one of the first board games from Bulgaria - my country. But after I tested it (I had the pleasure to try it with the creator and artists) I was sure I was going to buy the game, because it is AWESOME AND AMAZING! A must-have for sure!

A truly amazing game. My first game of the kind ( deck building and more). Amazing art. For a casual gamer like me ( most of the games I own take up to 30 minutes to play) the fact that I spare the time to play it (so far it is more than two hours for a four-players game) only shows the real awesomeness of the game. Did I mention the AMAZING art??? And I bet that I have only scratched the surface of the gameplay...

Outstanding game. I have never seen such an amazing art in a game. You can feel the awesomeness of the art not only on the main box, but also in every single play card or miniature, you play with. The gameplay is flawless and mind catching. The depth of the game changes while you get better and better. A whole set of strategies open in time and you can never guess the winner right to the very end. Strongly recommend it! So far my personal favorite.

I never expected such encouter such a gem. Strategic area control/deck building game that does not stall - and gives a lot options to win. Still manageable with 4 players.
