I've only played the "21-23 building" and "keep a card" modules which change the base game immensely. Will eventually explore the others. Rating based on more variety to an amazing base game.

Interesting expansion modules. Make the game play quite different and allows for new strategies :).

This expansion is not necessary because the base game is already great without it but it adds a lot of replayability and modularity. You can choose wichever variants you want to play with and the game stays uncomplicated. Now I always play the game with the expansion.

This expansion adds several new layers of strategy to an already fantastic game. The module we use most often, you don't even need to own the expansion for. We don't use the Events all that often, and usually forget about the Park tiles, but we use the >20 tiles a lot and the new holding rule, along with the Experts themselves occasionally.

Not a necessary expansion by any means, but for a person who loves Ginkgo and would like to inject some variety into it, it's damn solid. My personal preference in playing the game is with keep a card, experts and green spaces. More buildings and events are neat too, but play with all of it at once and it starts to ruin the game a bit, I find.
