3 plays in sofar and love it! Very thematic and some tough decisions to make. Love the theme and how it is translated into the scenarios, cards and ruleset. Rulebook is a bit vague, but nothing that can't be solved with some common sense and browsing bgg. Sometimes a lot is going on and some rules or conditions can easily be forgotten After a couple of rounds it flows nicel, though.
I like this game. I am especially amazed at how similar this game plays like the roleplaying game. I wonder if people have created more material for the board game by using the RPG.
The game seems to get a lot of bad press. I find the game to be an overall excellent experience with bags of theme. Proobably more likely to appeal to people who grew up in the 80s. I love the freedom of no structure to the actions with players able to just do what they want, when they want. I find it quite refreshing to rigid structures and timeing charts etc. The stories are excellent and thematically engaging. It's not perfect by a long stretch but always enjoyable.
Don't believe the bad reviews, especially the Dice Tower one, he got so much wrong and misunderstood so many things it's a joke... this is a really really good game with great stories... get the expansions too!
