Far Away 3rd Edition

Far Away is clever, quirky, delightful, and challenging. It's not your average 2 player game. The missions are balanced, the creatures are all sorts of creepy and cute, and the premise of working for a space federation on a budget is something that kept a smile on my face the whole time. Great work on this one, Alex and Jake!!

I invested in the kickstarter for this game for my husband and we’ve been playing every weekend. We both really enjoy the game, and it’s an excellent way to pass the day when quarantined. The campaigns are well thought out and very challenging. We love it!

I adore this game. I have never played anything like it. The art is beautiful, the writing is tongue-in-cheek funny with lots of little hidden jokes. Far Away is a true cooperative game - the communication dynamic of not being able to talk in real life when you are not in the same hex in the game makes it so that one person can't take over the game play. It's clear that a lot of thought went into designing the creatures and the ecosystem. I love the switch-up between the two player's turns and the role-playing of deciding what the animals would do. This game is well designed and well made, I'm impressed that it comes from a little indie designer!

A game done with tons of love and attention to detail, with a beautiful retro design and a vibrant ecosystem of creatures. Looking forward to try the expansion. Probably not the kind of game for everyone (especially due to the role-playing of creatures) but for me it's wonderfully involving and fun.

Great game! Amazing replayability! Its got a learning curve but it only takes a few games to get the hang of it. You can see a lot of love was put into the creation of the game. I havent played it yet but everyone in the room said that they got a lot of Settlers of Catan vibes from it. Just with more going on. If you enjoy these types of games i would extremely recommend buying it!! You wont regret it, no doubt.
