In a mad quest for power, Thagrosh claimed the dragon Everblight’s Athanc. He cut a hole in the center of his chest and embedded the powerful soul crystal next to his heart, inviting Everblight’s essence to merge with his own, imbuing the ogrun with the power and malice of the dragon. As the vessel of Everblight, Thagrosh would go on to conquer and devastate the ancient Nyss while incubating the Athanc’s power and his bond with the great Dragonfather’s malevolent spawn.
