Thrones of Valeria es un juego de toma de trucos y manipulación de rangos diseñado por Matt Jacobs. Es para 3-6 jugadores con reglas especiales para 2 jugadores y ofrece juego individual o en equipo. Idealmente, podrás jugarlo con 3 o más jugadores. La historia: Hace mucho tiempo, cuando el reino estaba en sus inicios, las cinco Grandes Casas de Valeria estaban constantemente discutiendo, robando, conspirando e incluso asesinándose entre sí, todo por la oportunidad de convertirse en la Casa más rica y poderosa del Reino. Thrones of Valeria evolucionó a partir de esas luchas de poder y ha prosperado entre la gente común que busca saborear la lucha de los nobles. Hoy en día, es el tipo de juego que los viajeros juegan en las tabernas por diversión y dinero. El juego en sí: Thrones of Valeria es un juego de toma de trucos donde ganar se basa en las monedas ganadas y no en la cantidad de trucos ganados. Cada carta tiene un poder especial que afecta cómo se desarrollan las rondas del juego, haciendo que las Grandes Casas (palos) oscilen de lo prestigioso a lo vil, desde ganar un pequeño tesoro hasta perder una pequeña fortuna. Thrones of Valeria cuenta con un tablero de posiciones que rastrea el prestigio de las Grandes Casas, fichas de estilo "mahjong" para reflejar el poder relativo de cada Casa, una bolsa de sorteo personalizada, fichas de monedas y cartas diseñadas por The Mico.
