Intrinsically interactive, shared incentives, troops-on-a-map, low-luck euro gameplay. Competitive and interactive, but not punishing. Simple rules overhead that easily lets you slip into an epic feeling wargame. Don't be turned off by tepid comments from fans of Imperial. This game is unique and interesting in its own right. I see this becoming an all time favorite of mine.

My god, this is so fun! Fo me better than imperial, you can play even if youbdont control anything. Manipulation for your profit, aliances, treason atc. Easy rules, unconbentional gameplay. Next masterpiece of designer! Glad I waited. Is so much more accesiblen than imperial.

Really does 3 players well which is not an easy thing. Such a fun and easy game to grok. Interesting financier of empires element. Highly recommend it. My kids love it (12 & 8) we started a 5 round game and now they are ready for the full 8 round game which has been great for on-boarding.
