Bangers addition, needed for the 3,4 players game to bring some freshnes for the smugglers. Coralcaps are pretty fun fractions with bunch of ships and cool abilities, and who wouldn't love a gigantic sea serpent spread along the map and eat the foes. Great additional content for the game
What a genious idea to put a majestic Leviathan in the seafaring world of Ahoy! Love the not so little guy.
I will always add these as an option to be played with. It's an understatement to tell you they are very fun to play with. Especially the Coral Caps boost the potential for interaction even further.
Fantastic addition. The new factions from this expansion combined with Rivals & Renegade makes Ahoy a 8 to a 10. Love it!
I have never played without substituting one of the Smugglers with the Leviathan, and I doubt I ever will. It is one of those expansions that genuinely elevates the game into something extraordinary and probably should have been in the base game box. I think the game received more initial "negative" press than it now deserves because of that, but I do understand the choice to keep the more complex factions out of the base game.
