I am a fan of deck building games. I have multiple games from the Ascension series, all of which I think are great games. I never mix cards from an expansion with the base game or other expansions, because each expansion adds a different mechanic to the rules. I also like throwing in the Rat King and Rat Queen packs. Storm of Souls is my favorite, followed by War of Shadows. The others are good, but I seem to favor these two when deciding which one to play.

Actually won the game at a MegaMeetUp tournament in Tuscaloosa, AL. This game is great for my family since it works well no matter how many are playing. I am able to keep both a 9 and 18 year old at the table :-)

Nice little promo. Neat idea with the rats that cover the other cards, but if you have enough power to kill the king right away the award is too high.

A good mini-expansion for Ascension. Acts as a simple extra card you can throw in, but does something a little fancier than your average card with putting the rats on top on every other card that you have to remove.
