Barrage Nile Affair

Anyone who owns Barrage, this is a MUST have for the collection. It actually makes a 2 player game a much tighter and more interesting game. I cant recommend enough.

To counter the 1. This is a new map not to game and boardgame mechanics are never out of date.

Unlike Leeghwater, the Nile expansion actually opens up an entirely new path to victory. The rules are less cumbersome than they seem, and for better or worse the additional options make Barrage a lot less punishing. I think it's actually a good map to introduce new players to for that reason. I see myself using this map more often than I use Leeghwater project's modules.

Solve the issue to have damn without the possibility to make use of the water drops in them. +2 in the Nile lane add more water in general to the game, thus everythink can make use of lots of water benefits strongly. (like USA for example, never seen 20+ stept with USA ever before)

Fun to play and just enough difference to the base game. Complete steal at $14. I wish more games shipped expansions like this (shrinkwrapped punchboards, lots of fun for a low price)
