Exit Advent Calendar The Silent Storm

Picked up from Treehouse in Sheffield, UK. Such a great idea for Christmas. Keeps the children interested with a competing story, may get lost in the weeds though so re-caps may be necessary.

My first Exit Advent Calendar was a great experience. I did each puzzle daily, with each taking 5-10 minutes. Most puzzles were quickly solvable, but there were a few that really stumped me. The included materials were very well made, even though it uses the standard (cheap) card stock of other Exit games. Some puzzles made great use of the actual box itself, and others had creative use of destructable components; both of which are classic hallmarks of an Exit game. I think this was extremely worth the reduced price of $25, although I would hesitate to pay the full $50 MSRP for this.

Wow! I am so impressed by the details and thought that went into this game. It was unique, fun, and the right amount of difficult. It was extremely creative, and made you think outside of the box! Highly recommend!

I've played around 10 exit games and around 10 unlock games. My partner and I really enjoy the genre as a good date night. We both agreed this advent calendar was our favorite experience yet!! All 24 puzzles were clever yet not too obtuse. We didn't have to use a clue on any of the puzzles but felt challenged by many of them. And, without spoiling anything, Exit games have always been known for their "out of the box" thinking (hehe)...but oh my word this game takes it to a whole new level!!
