La splendida penisola di Greenwood è governata da una congrega di druidi e viene presentata come un rifugio per creature magiche e una meta ideale per le vacanze. In realtà, quell'immagine è una menzogna.
In Greenwood i giocatori interpretano gli Spiriti Primordiali e guidano i propri compagni per salvare la penisola. A ogni turno si può usare l'abilità dei propri compagni, quella dei compagni degli altri giocatori, oppure inviare un compagno nella foresta per migliorare l'orientamento e soccorrere creature mistiche. Nella modalità avanzata ogni clan ha un'abilità unica utilizzabile da qualsiasi giocatore. Si gioca nel corso di tre notti e vince chi ottiene più punti vittoria.

I got to try Greenwood (is a Lie) at a board game con and really liked it. The asymmetry gives it great replay value, and the mechanics lock together nicely. Even with all the strategic depth, the game played surprisingly fast and smooth. I especially enjoyed the player interaction with the spies. Using them to copy opponents' action cards felt a lot like the Diplomat card in Concordia. It adds a cool tactical layer without being mean. With its gorgeous art and delightfully quirky theme, it's a super solid title.
