Legendary Encounters : un jeu de construction de deck basé sur les quatre films de la série Alien, est un jeu entièrement coopératif avec des illustrations originales. Bien qu'il soit basé sur la version des super-héros Marvel de Legendary, les deux jeux seront compatibles mais ne pourront pas être entièrement intégrés.

Legendary Encounters est un jeu de construction de deck dans la même famille que Legendary : A Marvel Deck Building Game, mais maintenant les joueurs doivent coopérer pour survivre contre des hordes d'aliens. Les joueurs prennent des tours pour recruter des cartes pour leur deck à partir d'une sélection centrale afin d'améliorer leur deck et de vaincre les cartes ennemies qui sont ajoutées au plateau de jeu central.
