The speed and simplicity of this game are stellar, as you can understand the rules and be playing almost immediately. The theme is terrific, and altogether it is an instant winner that stays in the collection!

Gioco di carte con elementi di gioco di ruolo per 3-8 giocatori, da allestire e spiegare in meno di 2 minuti. Si interpretano studenti maghi che collaborano per risolvere i problemi del college, lanciando incantesimi su cui hanno poco controllo.
A turno si lancia un incantesimo in base alle carte che si hanno davanti, dicendo che effetto si vorrebbe ottenere. Poi si pesca a caso un disco da un sacchetto con coulisse: sul disco ci sono un colore e un simbolo. Il giocatore del colore corrispondente dice che cosa accade davvero, usando il simbolo come traccia. Il più delle volte l'incantesimo non va come previsto e si verifica un disastro magico. Si vince se si completano in 2-3 round gli obiettivi di una carta Evento maggiore, ma una storia comune nasce comunque, che gli obiettivi siano raggiunti oppure no. La partita normale dura 20 minuti e offre una storia completa per i personaggi. Per un'esperienza di ruolo più approfondita è inclusa anche una partita epica da 90-120 minuti.

Absolutely fantastic game. Very simple to play, even for those not used to role-playing, the prompts are great. Nearly had a heart attack with the amount of laughing. Highly recommended this gem of a game.

Super fun light role-playing game. It feels a bit like a one-shot RPG, but more accessible to new players due to having a bit more structure and mechanics. I played it with various crowds and it always makes for a good laugh and memorable adventure. Highly recommend!

I’m part of the community where the developer plays regularly, and played it a few times. It’s a load of fun, but be aware that it’s all about the storytelling. If your group just wants to churn their worker-replacement engines or build up points to “win”, you’re not going to enjoy it. But if you love improv, role-playing, and storytelling, this is for you!!

This is such a fun compelling game. Each time you play it is different the story is always changing on how each person builds their character and spells they get. It’s a fun way to play if you want the roleplaying game without one person controlling narrative or to get people to try it out. I highly recommend giving it a try!
