In beautiful Burgundy, two players each run a traditional estate where both wine and cheese are produced. And even though they share the vineyards, pastures, and laborers, they are in direct competition with each other. Over two years, they must each prove that they can master the demanding tasks of wine and cheese production. Skill is required when gathering ingredients, as in spring the workers are sent in pairs to the plots and brought back in autumn. Good timing is also necessary to not only produce and age wine and cheese in the best possible way but also to sell them at the right moment. To win, one must pay attention to maintaining a balance between the types of goods, wine and cheese. At the end of the two years, only the type of goods that has brought in fewer coins counts for each estate. Wine & Cheese is the spiritual, independent successor to Beer & Bread.
