Altar of the Dead Gods is a two-player skirmish game set in a dark Lovecraftian universe. Each player leads a warband chosen from six dark cults, aiming to explore the Buried Temple, seize the Ancient relics, and gain favor from monstrous deities.
The ruleset is quick to learn and allows starting with few miniatures, moving on a square grid and resolving combats with dice rolls.
