Flamecraft

I felt in love with the art and I was in the pursue of getting the deluxe edition (the one with neoprene mat, metal coins and wooden resources) and I'm thrilled I got it at the Board Game fair in Essen. I was chasing it, and online I could not find a place where to buy it.

I love this game! I love the art, the game play, the upgraded meeples and coins. This scratches my tiny-things-hoard habit and strategy-but-only-a-turn-or-two-in-the-future tendencies.

CUTENESS OVERLOAD!! If you love cosy fantasy, adorable dragons, and incredible art in your boardgames, then I highly recommend Flamecraft! Medium level strategy, and the different shops add decent replayability. I have since backed Critter Kitchen and Flamecraft duals, both of which I am very much looking forward to playing, and I trust that #cardboardalchemy will deliver the same high quality of game in their next adventures. ^_^

Fun positive and joyful game that is a nice way to spend time solo or with other players. Really enjoying the beautiful design, miniatures, and deluxe components that elevate the game experience and are really feeling great to play with. The game is very very simple but it’s a different kind of challenge: instead of “who’s the smartest” it is more a “who’s best at the greater good?” Much recommended. Especially to groups with newbie or non-players. It’s a great entry game or something to wind down after a long day.

Huge bias for this game because of my love for the art and this being the game that truly got me into board gaming. Love playing this, though set up and tear down time takes a bit.
