Great game. This will surpass Transamerica/Ironroad in my book. Easy to teach. Fun to play. Winsome has hit a home run with this one. It will be interesting to see who picks this one up and how they gussy it up. Whatever they do, I hope they use the cover art. It is by far the most evocative that Winsome has used in awhile.

Played once with closed adds and it was a little much. Will play with open adds next time. Great filler (here meaning 'short game'). Setup is a real chore. The brown and purple trains are nearly indistinguishable in poor lighting, and I have pretty good color vision. My colorblind friend had no hope. Breezy enough that playing multiple times in a sitting isn't unreasonable.

Really, really enjoyed this one. An excellent filler. It is lighter than most Winsomes, but enjoyable regardless. The 30-min play time is great, although set-up is a bit of a PITA. It's very tactical, but also has some subtleties in the game play. The expand but reduces shares & vice-versa mechanisms are clever. I liked it better with 3 players than 5 players. I have only tried it with train-game/Winsome newbies. Based on the overwhelmingly positive response, it looks to be a good Winsome gateway game.

I am thrilled when I find a simple ruleset that lodges itself in my brain and keeps me puzzling on how to form a sensible strategic framework. Randomness of the initial cube draw is nothing compared to the nondeterminism of the other players in this game. Each rule is necessary. Update: I'm actually worried about this game from a game theory perspective! It may be degenerate in that it's never smart to build productively, and the arbitrary chaos of destructive builds determines the winner given rational players? Stay tuned dear readers as I investigate.
