Aquatica: Cold Waters

Such an amazing expansion! The new game mode (tribes) adds so much depth to the game. Highly replayable with only a selection of cards you use each game. The standard game mode feels more balanced as well, e.g. 2 more character cards at 2 player count and a better variety of different characters in each game.

This takes a great game and makes it even better! I couldn't ask for anything more in an expansion. I don't think I'll ever play with the original goal track again. The tribes module gives you so many new scoring and combo options to build around. 10/10 expansion

A perfect expansion. It adds another player, it adds more locations and creatures that are fun and interesting, and it reworks the shared objectives to the tribes module (the objectives were the weakest part of the base game). If I had to find a negative it would be that the magnifying glass symbol can be confusing to some players, but this a very VERY minor issue.

1 партия на двоих. Мне понравилось, не нужно гнаться за всеми целями, чтобы триггернуть конец или взять больше ПО чем сосед, а можешь построить свою стратегию под определенную карту племени и срубить с неё много ПО. Ксю не зашло :(

A must-own. The tribes module completely fixes the pacing problems of the base game, which can end extremely quickly before you can even get to the point where you're pulling off combos and using the characters you bought. Turns the base game from a 7 to a 9. I would never play the base game without it
