This game is great! Card driven makes for some great strategic gameplay. Couple that with a great physical representation of the city. So much fun to come up with a strategy based on the cards you get and watch the city physically grow according to that strategy.

Top notch quality board&components. One of the best game this year released! Even lots of conflicts happened our first 3p game finished very closed! Need more HYPE...
Enjoyable multiplayer CDG in which you are seeking to collectively build a city but be the one who does it the best. Sometimes, that leads to also bringing on some destructive riots and other disasters to put someone else in their place... This is not for people who don't enjoy player conflict and destruction.
A really mean euro, when you get to build a city and then send the mob to destroy it afterwards. This game has a vibe similar to Terraforming Mars: you play cards and place stuff on a grid. But, unlike Terraforming, in which direct attacks are few and hard to come by, here you have pure, unaltered, raw conflict. More than half the cards have really devastating effects for your opponents. To sum up: if you like euro games and direct conflict, this game is for you.
Obviously a labor of love by a designer that knows his history. Game can be as nice or as nasty as the players style. Clocks in at 3 hours for a 4-player game, a bit longer with newer players. This is a war game disguised as a Euro city-builder. Rule 1: bash the leader. Rule 2: maximize your own points. Rule 3: see Rule 1. After repeated plays, upped rating to a 9.
