This might be my favorite expansion. The new deck seems a bit better than the old one. The deck also comes with a long-game option, which seems promising, although I haven't played it enough to judge.
I love this deck. It's spread out more, with lower lows, higher highs, and more even mid-late plant spread. I only play with this deck now, though I am thinking of mixing it up a bit.
An excellent addition to one of my all-time favourites. Makes the mid game less crucial if you're playing with new players and I still enjoy this deck more with a table of people familiar with the game. Rating a 10 to reflect my love for the core set and that this deck doesn't detract from anything that makes the base game so brilliant.
One thing I like about Power Grid is flexibility and the new cards deliver this. They can either replace the old power plants, be used with them to make a larger deck, or use the bigger plants with the base deck to slightly expand the base game.
