This game is a triumph. All of the juicy cooperative mystery/crime solving goodness, but with NO app, minimal reading, no component bloat, and played in a reasonable amount of time (about 90 min to 2 hours per case). Perfect level of difficulty in my opinion. Really hope new cases are released.

Giving this a 10 bearing in mind that it is meant to be played once. It truly achieves what it was designed to do, basically no time spent teaching since it's just describing pictures but everybody is instantly engaged when they get their cards and the payoff when solving a case is awesome. Only caveat is that not everybody can stay focused to play 1 entire case in a single sitting lol.

In the category of one-and-done, mystery-solving games, this is both a unique game and an extremely well-done version. The box art is stunning and the cases are great fun to piece together (we played them all at 4 players). Dave Neale has become someone whose games I preorder immediately. Highly recommend if you like mystery games, and eagerly hoping for news of more sets!

husband likes it very much. i think the game is very well designed--everything feels super smart, logical, and resolvable. and the production is top notch. wish they make more in this series.

Notre seul jeu d'enquête. Un travail collectif basé sur la communication. Des scénarios bien ficelés, la possibilité de trouver des parties de l'énigme sans tout trouver pour autant. Des dessins remarquables qui ajoutent à la richesse des descriptions à échanger.
