Qwixx: Connected

Qwixx: Connected consists of two new scorepads that provide twists on the normal way of playing Qwixx. With "The Steps", each player takes a different scoresheet from A-E, and each of these scoresheets has a meandering row of black-bordered spaces that crosses the four colored rows on a player's sheet. The game is played like normal, but now in addition to scoring the number of Xs in the four colored rows, you also score points for the black row that criss-crosses everything else, scoring for 0-11 Xs depending on how many spaces you mark. With "The Chain, each player takes a different scoresheet from A-E, and each of these scoresheets has numbers in adjacent spaces that are circled and connected by a line, such as the red 9 and the yellow 9 or the yellow 3 and the green 11. Whenever you X out one of the circles in a chain, then you automatically cross out the other circle in the chain — even if that color has been marked to the right of the circle or is finished. Now you have second chances to fill in spaces that might otherwise lie empty!
