Sekigahara 1600 to Tom II serii poświęconej Sengoku jidai. Gra znajduje się w pudełku zawierającym piękną jednostronną mapę strefy (120 cm x 80 cm), 432 pięknie ilustrowane żetony autorstwa Pascala Da Silvy (18x18 mm), 12-stronicową instrukcję - 6 w języku francuskim i 6 w języku angielskim - , 12 stron scenariuszy (wszystkie wielkie bitwy, bitwa główna, wokół bitwy pod Sekigaharą), przykłady i notatki historyczne oraz mapę, pomoc dla gracza w każdym języku. Skala wynosi 300 m na strefę, 45 minut na turę gry i 500 mężczyzn na żeton. Gra trwa od 3 do 6 godzin i jest idealna dla 2 lub 4 graczy.

I had the chance to try the game directly with the designer, Philippe Hardy. Even though I'm not a big fan of Japanese history (or wargames on this topic), I found the rules excellent for simulating one of the most important battles in human history. The counters are great as well, and the map, in full Japanese style, is especially impressive!
The artcover is so beautiful by G Rava ! Inside the box, counters are on the same way. Rules are easy, the overall complexity is low Japanese flavour ! The playing time is moderate, it's easy to find time to play the game. If you like Sengoku Jidai, the game is for you !
The latest entry in Philippe Hardy's "Sengoku Jidai" series surpasses the previous one in terms of quality of production. The artwork -- box cover, map, counters -- is beautiful and strongly evokes the time and place. I expect the game itself will be equal to the presentation, having some experience with the previous game in the series, as well as the series on the French Wars of Religion [which began with By Shot, Shock and Faith], with a broadly similar system. Looking forward to playing this!
Less than Nagashine, but much larger scale. Devised own rules for activation of the blue undecided divisions and the walls portrayed in Sekigahara.
Unplayed, but have played Nagasino & Shinzogutaki (sp) and really enjoyed. Stunning art work. Very excited to play.
