Star Wars: Battaglia di Hoth

Excellent game. I own Battle Cry, Battlelore, Memoir 44, C&C Ancients/Napoleonics, The Great War. All Days of Wonder and Richard Borg games, great system. This has become my favorite. Why? I am a Star Wars fan, very easy to setup, plays fast, easy to learn. I recommend this game to anyone who enjoys Star Wars, light wargaming, doesnt have time for complex long games.

This game is great. I play solo using the CDG solo method, so the simplicity makes the game shine and easy to operate. Always a big fan of CNC games, which to me have always been better the simpler they are. Quick playing, easy to get to the table, good components. Matches with the research I did on the product.

If you like memoir 44 and like star wars, you'll love this game. Besides the smaller map, still worth to have. Faster and simple than memoir, but with expansions it'll be a masterpiece. Its too early to hope for a Clone Wars standalone and compatible set? Would love to create a CIS x Empire war. And a expansion like New Flight Plan? Would be EPIC!!

Personalmente no soy fan de Star Wars pero el juego me ha encantado por diferentes aspectos: las miniaturas, la sencillez de reglas, el ritmo rápido y la tensión constante. Es un juego pensado sobre todo para principiantes, muy fácil de sacar a mesa con prácticamente cualquier tipo de jugador, aunque donde mejor brilla es en duelos a dos. Extremely enjoyable 2-4p battle game. Highly confrontative. Only played with 2p. Played against several opponents, lost many battles, won as much, enjoyed all. 20-30 min, intense, varied with lots of scenarios. Its a gem. I have it with the promo minis. I hate the cover design of the box. But true, this does not lessen the worth of the game, just a personal annoyance for me.
