The Red Dragon Inn 3

This addition of the game adds new characters which breathes a lot more life into the game. The randomness of the gear cards or the wolf leaves players on the edge of their seats, the potions are a fun mini bartering game that can forge temporary alliances, and then there's the piety counters... Haha, super fun expansion and out of the first three, definitely the most fun!

One of my favorite games! This expansion adds characters with some new mechanics for each of them. And the drink deck has some great new drinks and events that make this my favorite drink deck of the three games. Wizgille the Tinkerer reminds me of Gadget from Rescue Rangers. :)

My gateway game. Played games once a week @ work but owned none...till I found RDI demoing at PAX East. Immediately bought all 3 editions plus the 2 expansion characters, and kicked in for the full Kickstarter for RDI 4 + expansion characters. The learning curve is simple, drawing in even non-gamer gamers, the rules are fleshed out, there's plenty of game balance, the cards are funny and well drawn, and it makes for a fantastic warm-up or party game. Easily my favourite game so far.

My wife and I love this game! This core set starts introducing more complex characters. They only increase the enjoyment of the game without adding stress to the players. The heroes are not overly complex and the thematic feel of the cards is one any fantasy RPG player will love!

The best Red Dragon Inn! In my opinion, this is the game everyone should start with (if you can handle the secondary decks - otherwise RDI2 would be ideal for a simpler game). Phrenk and Serena are two of the best characters in the entire series, and actually all of the characters here are solid and fun. They all have really cool mechanics via their secondary decks that are vastly different from each other yet no one feels over or under-powered.
