Love at first play Masterpiece Pros: I love the art. I find it to be very sarcastic and it constantly makes me laugh. Cheers to the minimalistic approach of the artist! Really fun mechanisms and strategy. Light weight with fast setup and small foot print. Just when I thought I had this game figured out, concluding it was a cake walk, some of the deeper challenges started to surface. Thank goodness because I LOVE this game. I was going to sell it if it was too easy. I started playing on max difficulty after only two plays. Very fast action game, you are constantly moving on to the next fight. Cons:

Rating was 7 after one play (died in green), went up to 9 after 3 plays (died in yellow) and after 6 or 7 plays, I am hooked. Still haven't won but there's something really addictive about this game. I can't stop....

I love how compact this game is. It's easy to learn, quick to set up, and just as quick to put away. I was so excited when I won my very first game... until I realized I'd forgotten to increase the attack difficulty as I progressed through the game. ? Let's just say my second attempt didn't go nearly as well... and neither did my third or fourth. For a game that looks so plain, I didn't expect to become so invested. I really wanted to survive and make it home! I also loved the artwork. It has a quirky style that fits the game perfectly.

This is an excellent game. A classic for a reason. I was hesitant to pick this up because of some of the reviews I'd read but I am so glad that I purchased it. My only complaint is that it's so addictive!
