Railroad Ink Challenge: Lush Green Edition

(Digital) / Apple By far the best Railroad Ink game. It has Challenge cards included, I like the tree expansion because it just adds points and looks nice. This very just adds so much to the scoring and overall look of the game. I will say it adds some additional rules that is a lot for newbies. Easy to learn: Easy to Medium Time to play: 20 min Re-playable: Yes Recommend: If you enjoy roll/write, city/train builder type games... yes

I already reviewed the Blue version which I originally played and I can only add that it is very clever what they did with the game versions here. You have a few possibilities for the base game, each adding unique "expansions" and than you have a plenty of small, cheap, expansions that can make the game different. It is also nice how you can play this version as the base game but they added a few new things that you can mix up and make the game strategically more complex. It is a 10/10 of for me - a quick game, no set-up, different than the others, replayable, contagious and for the whole family.

I can't get my group to enjoy the expansions, but that's not why I bought it. It's for me, curled on the couch with a strong cuppa and a brain burn.

Perfect weight and length, You can play it anywhere with any number of players with the printed extra player sheets. Every game is different and the expansion dice change up the experience and tactics a lot. The dice feel really good, but I would recommend getting coloured markers as they make the game a lot more pleasant and readable
