Vampire: The Masquerade – Vendetta

I was excited to try Vampire Vendetta, and it really lived up to my expectations. One of the best things about Vampire Vendetta is how well-balanced the Clans are. Each Clan has its own unique abilities and strategies, making the game fun and varied. Around my table, almost every Clan has won, which speaks to the game's balance and appeal. It has quickly become a favourite at our game nights. It's one of those games that players frequently ask to play. It's a shame Vampire Vendetta isn't more popular, as I'd love to see an expansion that builds on its fantastic foundation.

We really like this game. It's exactly what you need on an evening when you don't have much time but still want to play a deep and challenging game. I also really like the theme and how it was transposed.

La calidad de componentes, la rejugabilidad y el juego en sí me parecen excelentes. Les enseñe a jugar Vampiro la Mascarada Vendetta a jugadores muy casuales en un evento itinerante y funcionó de maravilla. Solo tuve que guiar a los nuevos jugadores en la estructura de las rondas y luego el juego se juega sólo. La estrategia está en cómo combar las cartas y dónde o contra quién enfrentar.

What an incredible surprise. The way that blood is used as a currency and as life is genius and the asymmetry of the factions keeps things different from game to game. I wish I had more people to play it with so we could really become familiar with the cards and rely more on mind games.

The more I play this, the more I like it and I am promoting it into my top 5 now. Permanent difficult decisions and thinking on your feet because of the intense player interaction. Great setting and art that matches the vicious gameplay very well. Super nice asynchronous factions that are all super interesting, fun and strong (except maybe one of them, but we are not fully decided on that) - even though some of the strenghts and weaknesses may be a bit situational. Also nice pacing and adequate length of each game (even though the 30 mins are not true of course) so that you usually want to and CAN play 2-3 rounds in a row.
