Die Spieler übernehmen die Kontrolle über die Normannen oder die Sachsen und rekreieren die historische Schlacht von Hastings. Mit einem Fokus auf schnelles, taktisches Spiel und einer thematischen Abstraktion der Ereignisse der Zeit ist kein Deckbau erforderlich; jeder Spieler nimmt einfach sein Deck, mischt es und das Spiel beginnt. Warnung: kann auch historische Informationen enthalten. Dies ist ein Alt Wars-Kartenspiel, und wenn es erfolgreich ist, werden weitere folgen, beginnend mit Agincourt.
